Listen (2014-2015) creates multi-layered relationships between site and allegory, listening to one another is not only essential, it is imperative to any peaceful outcome. The work conjured, stirred and encapsulates our emotions, leaving goose bumps crawling on the surface of our skin.
‘The Universality of this message, which on one hand expresses all the pain related to the war, but on the other begs for respect and peace….’Listen’ is in a sense a memento of what we were, what we are and what we will destined to become if we don’t take care of each other and listen. The art work involves us, calling for attention, yelling into the deafening silence, just like that ear isolated from the heads, we have to LISTEN….’ Giulia Pergola- IoDeposito
