KA –BOOM!(2016)

…from the world of Comics and Pop Art, I process, deconstruct, and reassemble in a new shape to create sculptures and space-encompassing installations. On the surface the artwork produce a supposedly naive and cheerful narrative, however, with biting irony it illustrates a disturbing and subversive allusion of artillery destroying lives and environmental destruction.

…combining incongruity and humour, this monumental 2.5 meters sphere sculpture has 3000+ handmade red wool pom poms, it is a metaphor for all the tragedies that war has caused.
